After the warmth of the womb, the cot is the place where baby will spend most of its time during the first months of its life; the place where it will gradually awaken to the world. That's why Charlie Crane has designed KUMI, a soothing space open to the outside world.

The design of the KUMI bassinet fuses tradition and modernity. It retains the ancient side-to-side rocking motion that helps babies fall asleep, while at the same time creating a minimalist, contemporary design, with the surrounding cords making it lightweight and secure. During installation, parents tie the cords themselves. This is a gesture with a high emotional value, as it means participating in the construction of the child's nest.

There are several colours of cords available.

The coconut mattress is a natural mattress that offers many advantages. Without chemical treatment, coconut fibre is naturally hypoallergenic and anti-mite. Its high filtration capacity also helps to reduce moisture and condensation, which is ideal for babies, who tend to sweat. The mattress cover is made of organic cotton quilted with natural organic wool.
